Privacy Policy
GENERAL
1. 'Lisa Eskander' is the trading name . LISA ESKANDER is fully licensed in Victoria, Australia by the Victorian Government to accept bets by telephone and the internet. The term “client” refers to any person who holds a LISA ESKANDER betting Account.
PERSONAL INFORMATION (PRIVACY)
2. Personal Information of a client may include, without limitation, a client's:
- name;
- address;
- bank account/ credit card details;
- betting records; and
- ISP address,
("Personal Information")
3. The type of personal information that LISA ESKANDER collects from its clients will depend on the dealings the client has with LISA ESKANDER, the requirements of any licenses LISA ESKANDER holds, the accompanying conditions that apply to those licenses, and the laws and regulations that apply to LISA ESKANDER's business, including, but not limited to, the Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Act 2006 ("the AML/CTF Act").
4.The client warrants and represents that any Personal Information supplied by the client to LISA ESKANDER is true, correct and complete and will remain so.
5. A client will, upon request by LISA ESKANDER establish the truth, correctness and completeness of any of the client's Personal Information. If any of the client's Personal Information changes at any time, the client will promptly notify LISA ESKANDER of such change.
6. LISA ESKANDER will take reasonable steps to:
- make sure that the Personal Information it collects, uses or discloses is accurate, complete and up to date;
- protect the Personal Information it holds from misuse and loss, from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure; and
- destroy or permanently de-identify Personal Information if it is no longer needed for any purpose for which the information may be used or disclosed under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
7. The Client acknowledges and agrees that all Personal information held by LISA ESKANDER may be used or disclosed by LISA ESKANDER as set out below and as permitted by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Without limitation, a client's Personal Information may be collected, stored, used or disclosed:
- to enable LISA ESKANDER to perform its obligations to the client under this Agreement;
- to enable LISA ESKANDER to ensure that the client performs its obligations under this Agreement;
- to a credit reporting agency;
- to maintain a credit information file about the client;
- to carry out LISA ESKANDER's own credit assessment on the client;
- for planning, research, promotion and marketing of LISA ESKANDER products and services;
- to organisations associated with the provision of LISA ESKANDER's services, such as associated data centres, for marketing and analysis purposes;
- to a potential purchaser of, or investor or in, any business conducted by LISA ESKANDER;
- Where LISA ESKANDER is required to do so by law or where the disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce the law.
- to assist any other government agencies with enquiries made under state or federal legislation, for example Child Support Agencies;
- to comply with LISA ESKANDER's disclosure obligations to the racing industries and authorised sporting bodies in accordance with LISA ESKANDER's contractual obligations to those state racing industries and authorised sporting bodies;
- to comply with all obligations that LISA ESKANDER has under its licence conditions, laws and regulations, including, but not limited to the AML/ CTF Act;
- to assist a law enforcement agency or any government agency responsible for national security in the performance of its functions; and
- to protect LISA ESKANDER's rights or property or those of any other Website or LISA ESKANDER service user, or any member of the public.
8. The client is welcome to request access to any Personal Information of the client that LISA ESKANDER holds by contacting LISA ESKANDER.
9. There are circumstances in which LISA ESKANDER is not required to give a client access to its Personal Information. LISA ESKANDER will let the client know if one of these exceptions applies to the client's request.
10. If LISA ESKANDER intends to charge the client a fee for LISA ESKANDER providing the client with a copy of the Personal Information LISA ESKANDER holds on that client, LISA ESKANDER will inform the client of the cost before providing the client with the information.
11. If the client does not, or refuses to, provide LISA ESKANDER with any Personal Information that LISA ESKANDER reasonably requires, LISA ESKANDER may, at LISA ESKANDER's discretion, freeze or close any account the client holds with LISA ESKANDER.
