One of the very few female bookmakers, Lisa Eskander has been in the racing industry for over 10 years, and has been licensed as a bookmaker since 1 January 2006. She comes from a long line of bookmakers, with both her father and brother well established in the industry.

Shortly after her debut as a bookmaker, Lisa was awarded the Victorian Bookmakers Association's VBA) "Young Achiever of the year" Award.
